Door Supervisors Code of Conduct

The following Code of Conduct contains the standards of conduct and behaviour that Luxe Security Group Limited expect, and persons must act in line with this Code of Conduct. The values and principles set out in the Code of Conduct can be applied in a range of different settings, but they are not negotiable or discretionary.

Door supervisors must arrive at least ten minutes prior to the start of their shift start time at the premises.

All door supervisors MUST sign in at the premises stating last four digits of SIA badge number and start time.

You must ensure you wear the correct uniform at all times.

All incidents are to be reported immediately to the premises manager.

Mobile phones must only be used for work related purposes.

Never solicit or accept any bribes or considerations from any person nor fail to account for any money or property received during the course of your duty.

You must act fairly and not unlawfully, do not discriminate against any persons on the grounds of race, colour, sex or disability.

Smoking, eating and chewing gum during duty is strictly forbidden.

Drinking alcohol prior to, during your duty is strictly forbidden.

You are to be fully aware of all licensing conditions and specific premises instructions.

No jewellery is to be worn whilst on duty except a wedding/engagement band.

Client documentation is to be correctly filled in at all times.

You must complete an incident report when and if required.

SIA Badges will be worn and will be on view at all times whilst on duty.

You will be courteous and give assistance to all police, council and enforcement officers that require access to the premises.

All door supervisors must ensure they are familiar with site-specific inductions and training.

All doormen will ensure that correct ID, search and entry procedure is carried out at all times in accordance with premises instructions.

Luxe Security Group Limited is opposed to the use of drugs and illegal substances. Should any door supervisor be found supplying or using such substances or condoning their supply or use they will be dismissed and reported to the police immediately.

All staff are to be polite and courteous to all customers at all times.

Use tact and diplomacy as the first tool to control any conflict, if required use only the minimum force at all times.

It is your duty to observe the 2003 Licensing Act, which states the DPS or his agent has the right to expel/refuse admission any person who is quarrelsome, disorderly, violent or drunk or any person whose presence could subject the license holder to a penalty.

Any property found or handed in must be handed to the Duty Manager of the premises.

You must not leave the venue until all customers have left the premises. It is your duty to check all toilet cubicles, fire exits and ensure that doors have been secured.

You must ensure that venue (duty) management are made aware that you are leaving at the end of your assignment.
